![]() Eventbrite suddenly changed the information intentionally from concert ending Saturday, September 29 at 12:30am to Friday, September 28 at 11pm. Then as I continued to search how to contact the event coordinated for a full refund. I screenshot on my phone the time it was supposed to end not realizing that I had my proof through email. Yet I have proof to show that they are evading refunding people’s money back intentionally. They also emailed the concert information with the times. Eventbrite and Gas Monkey listed the concert from Friday September 28 7pm-Saturday September 29 12:30am. They failed to realize that when the purchase was made online. When you try to do something illicit things fail because even though Eventbrite changed they time. Eventbrite is only looking out for themselves but I have proof that the concert did end early. They knew people would file claims with their credit card companies and went to change the original page to the concert ending earlier. Eventbrite also did wrong to its paid patrons. Yet they each have the money made from a concert that was not fulfilled. Both made money from the paying patrons and now the paying patrons are demanding refunds without success. Eventbrite coordinated a concert and paid Gas Monkey Live for the use of the facility. ![]() Again Gas Monkey Live rented the facility at a cost to Eventbrite. Yet when you purchase the tickets it states no refund but why should the paying customer be the collateral damage for their lack of running an event!!!! In the end people were mazed, pushed by security and/or guest (one of our members was pushed by security), bottled waters thrown (one of our members was hit with one) and took at least 60-90 minutes to exit the parking lot because of all the chaos. All they stated was to get with Eventbrite for a refund. Therefore causing the paid patrons to be the collateral damage. I feel that they did not have enough security to control the safety of the crowd. Venue personnel came on microphone announcing for everyone to exit the facility because the concert would not be continuing. A handful of people passed out, paramedics, Dallas police and helicopters on site because of the lack of control. On top of not enough security, people smoking marijuana, microphones were being turned off as rappers were in the middle of their performance and rappers complaining that they would not perform because of the smoke effect and them stating they could not see. Hence the reason why I feel they had so many issues because the website states 2000 on capacity. At one point it was announced that the attendance was 6000 people. The line was huge and it took our group 90 minutes to finally make it in. Well the event allowed people to get in the facility at 7pm but we arrived at 6:30pm. We end up being a destination.Something told me not to book this event and I should have listened. We have plenty of parking, and we don't charge for parking. "Having an outdoor stage is obviously a big plus right now, but we're also not subject to ordinances for sound or having to be done by a certain time. "We're off the beaten path, but that becomes an advantage," Mendonsa says. They feel confident that, with its updates, Amplified is the best place in Dallas to see a show, whether indoors or out.
